Downtown Charleston

One of my very favorite things to do in Charleston is walk around downtown along the riverfront park and then through all the streets looking at all the old churches and beautiful houses.  Love it.  It was much more challenging to do this time with a double stroller and at least one if not two whining children.  But we made the most of it and we got to do everything we love doing even if it was short-lived!
Best family shot of the whole trip
Luke loves playing in the fountain at the waterfront park!  We have pictures of him doing this at 16 months, and he's making the exact same expressions!

The historic streets of Charleston were not designed for double strollers but Cory's got some pretty good maneuvering skills!
One of our favorite things to do is get ice cream and sit and people watch while we eat it.  Luke agreed!
 Down at by the Battery
This is where some of the most beautiful historic homes I've ever seen are.  I love coming down here.  And there's lots of cannons on display so Luke and Cory loved that!  Cate was the only child that wanted to be in pictures that day so we took turns posing with her!

And last but not least, we LOVE strolling through the city market and shopping for our Charleston goodies!  They've redone the market since we were there last, and it was so nice!  Luke and Cory even got their matching Charleston shirts!  Luke's one request was that he get some candy corn at the market. So random but we actually found him some candy corn there!
