On Saturday we went to two birthday parties for some of Luke's friends!  It was a fun day despite the rain and colder weather!  

That morning we went to the park for Jack's, one of Luke's music class friends, birthday party.  Jack and Luke started out music class together when Luke was 4 months and Jack was 4 weeks!  So they've known each other for a long time!  We always love hanging out with our music class friends because everyone is right around Luke's age.  It can be a little crazy, but it's always a good time!

 Luke loved blowing bubbles while we waited for the rain to pass.

 And he got to practice his new ladder climbing skills!  Cory had taught him the night before how to climb up a ladder when Cory was getting things out of the attic.  Luke climbed the whole ladder by himself--he only needed help at the top.  He is quite the skilled climber if you haven't noticed!

 But the thing Luke wanted to do the most was get his hands on one of those yummy cupcakes!

 And in case you didn't know, blue icing stains little hands and faces!  He still has blue icing stains on his fingers!  And of course he only licked the icing off--no cake for Luke.

After we left Jack's party, we hit the road for KY for Mason's birthday party!  Luke fell asleep at one birthday party and woke up at another!

 And of course the first thing he wanted to see was Mason's awesome Yo Gabba Gabba birthday cake and cupcakes!

 And we got to hang out with sweet baby Hudson again!  Luke brought Hudson his fake tv remote and toy cell phone, and Hudson was happy the whole party!

Such a fun day and a reminder of how blessed we are that Luke has so many sweet friends to grow up with!
