This weekend was really rainy and gloomy, and we all needed to get out of the house so we went to see the horses at the ag center. Luke is a huge animal lover--he always has been. But he especially loves horses, and he prays for them every night! It always seems like such a random addition to his bedtime prayers, but he has such a sweet heart and love for animals.
Luke was so excited to go in the barn to see the horses. There are about 10-12 horses there, and they're all police horses.
Luke had the best time petting each one and learning each one's name. He even got licked on the head!
Cate had a few emotions--she's not the animal lover that Luke is. She would go from being completely disinterested, to being a little uncertain, to completely chuckling and laughing at the horses. It was really funny to watch her.
It was a fun little outing, and I'm sure we'll be doing it again soon!
