I finally uploaded all the pics from our trip to Gatlinburg for Luke's birthday weekend. We decided to go on a trip instead of having a birthday party this year. We weren't able to go on a vacation last summer because I was on 'modified activity' for my pregnancy, so we wanted to go on a Luke-fun-filled trip. We stayed at Wilderness at the Smokies--a hotel with an indoor waterpark. Luke had SO much fun at the water park, and there was plenty for him to do!

They had two water playgrounds that Luke really enjoyed. He especially loved these slides.
The first day we were there Cate was not a big fan of the water park. So I spent most of the time sitting in a chair with her watching all the action, but it was nice to just sit and relax for awhile while Cory chased Luke.
We went to the aquarium on that Saturday--it's a really awesome one too! They have a tunnel that you ride through on one of those moving walkways, and you're surrounded by LOTS of sharks. Luke was very unsure of all the big sharks but afterwards he couldn't stop talking about them and wanted to go through again.

After the aquarium we walked around Gatlinburg and let Luke pick out a sweet treat for his birthday. He picked out a donut with lots of sprinkles and icing.

His Poppop and Gammie sent him a gift card to the Disney store, and he was in heaven at the Disney store. We let him pick out anything he wanted, and he had a very hard time deciding which stuffed animal he wanted. He's a little obsessed with all his stuffed animals right now! He finally picked out Minnie and another Mickey Mouse!
Cate did a little of this too at the waterpark!
