All of my posts lately have been about how crazy Luke has been during naptime/nighttime, but thankfully that seems to be the only time he acts like that.  When we're out and about, he's the sweetest thing ever.  We're learning to channel his creativeness, inventiveness, independence, and determination in good ways.  And he's still the world's best cuddler and hugger which makes up for all the craziness!
Lately Luke has shown an interest in cooking.  He wants to see what we're doing and asks "what's this?" about a thousand times. So the past few weeks, we've been letting him help us in the kitchen--under extremely close supervision and guidance that is! Luke pulls one of the chairs over to where ever we're working, and just watches until we give him a job to do.  Tonight I was making tacos so he helped me cook the meat and season it.  He found out what the word "hot" means about a year ago--the hard way, so he knows not to touch anything we tell him is hot.
 My cute little helper!
Checking things out!  He loves to smell everything.
Cory is such a good cook so we're planning on teaching Luke to cook too!  And there will be no complaints from this wife/mommy!
