Party fun!

We have been to so many fun birthday parties lately!  It seems like every weekend for the past month, we've had a party to go to.  All of Luke's friends are turning two with him--it's so much fun!   And I feel so blessed that Luke has lots of friends his age to play with and go through the seasons of life with.  I know this stage is going to be the most interesting!   Here are some pics from a couple of the parties we've been to.

This is one of Luke's music class friends, Audrey.  She and Luke have been in music class together since they were around nine months old!  Audrey actually had a music class birthday party!
Luke loves stacking the drums and then playing the top one!  Very talented!

What a cutie!  I can tell he's going to be a heartbreaker!

Luke loves 'scarf time' at music class!  They are supposed to dance with the scarves, but Luke would much rather lay on the floor and cover up with them!

This picture isn't from a birthday party, but it was more of a good-bye party for one of our friends in music class.  Luke just loved getting to eat cake for lunch that day!  Or icing...

Last weekend, we went to Luke's best friend, Cooke's, birthday party.  Luke and Cooke have been friends since Cooke was born (a month after Luke!).  Luke visited him in the hospital!  It's been fun to watch them grow-up together!  Luke talks about Cooke everyday.  And Cooke talks about "uke" too!Cooke's cupcake was extra special because it also revealed the gender of Angela and Erik's baby!  Everyone was paying close attention to see if the cake was pink or blue!
Luke enjoying the icing!  He licked every bit of icing off the cake, and then he was done!
The kiddos played this cute game called Elefun" where the elephant blew butterflies out of his trunk, and then the babies were supposed to catch the butterflies as they floated down.  Really, they were all in awe of the floating butterflies that they didn't catch any, but it was so cute to watch their faces!
