This Christmas was our first Christmas in five years (since we got married) to stay at home, and I must say, it was really nice!  Cory's mom came to stay with us so we all had a lot of fun watching Luke open his presents, watching movies, and eating lots of great food!
Before the Christmas Eve service at church
Opening one of his first gifts!  Since we knew he would be overwhelmed on Christmas day, Luke got to open a couple of gifts before Christmas.
Giving his new nightlight turtle a hug

We had a birthday party for Jesus--we tried to read the Christmas story, but Luke wasn't having it.  Maybe next year.  He was very interested in the cupcakes though!  Ha!
 Yum!
Luke's face when he saw all the cupcakes!
Surprisingly, Luke isn't the biggest fan of cake--maybe it stems from the fact he threw up his entire birthday cupcake at his party!  So he just ate some of the icing off his cupcake and then drank the biggest glass of milk!

Opening his remote controlled puppy--a favorite of his!

And of course he had to give it a hug.  Such a sweet baby!
And a kiss!  The next day he tried to give the "puppy" a drink from his sippy cup like it was a bottle!  Love him!

And Luke's big present was this four-wheeler!  He got right on it and rode around the living room and right into the Christmas tree!  Ha!  He was a little unsure about it after that, but now he LOVES it!  It will be much easier to use once it gets warm enough to go outside.

Another favorite was this recorder!  He's already a great musician!
And the markers were a huge hit!

Merry Christmas!
