The pumpkin farm!

Today, we took Luke to the pumpkin farm! This is one of things I've always looked forward to doing with Luke, and it really was so much fun! There were so many new things for Luke to look at, and he loved feeling the pumpkins! We met our friends, Erik, Angela, Cooke, Cheri, and Caleb there which made the day even better!

Luke and Cooke--don't you just love Cooke's little hat?!

And of course there were lots of things for Luke to explore with his mouth!

The farm had goats, sheep, cows, turkey, and chickens. Luke liked watching all the chickens!

And what trip to a pumpkin farm isn't complete without a hayride?! We thought Luke would like it more than he did, but it was naptime. Maybe next time! So we fed him puffs and water to keep him happy--it was a long hayride for a fussy baby! Don't you love his new bib from Nannan!

Luke liked watching all the cows in the field.

Luke helped us pick out a really big pumpkin before we went home!

Fun! We are going to Gentry's on a field trip this week. ANother great farm to go to is Walden's Farm and it is just down the street in Nolensville. It's free and SO much fun. They have tons of baby animals and it's centered on younger children in my opinion. You can't go during school hours but it's great to check out in the afternoon. We go several times during October! I think they have a website so you should check it out.
