7 months!!

Seven months, really??!! Luke is such a big boy now! He is changing so much every day!

At seven months:

~Luke is getting better at sleeping through the night. Lately he's only wanted to eat one time during the night instead of two or three! Although he's still not that crazy about his crib. We're working on that one! He just loves being with his mommy and daddy so much that he hates to be alone in that big lonely crib.

~Luke is such a happy, content little baby! He loves to laugh, especially at night right before bed! And he has the cutest little laugh! I can't get enough of it! He really only cries if he's hungry, or if he's having stranger anxiety.

~He's still on an eat, play, sleep schedule--he eats, then plays for an hour or so, then takes a nap and repeat! He eats every three hours during the day. Luke loves to nap!

~Luke can still wears some 3 month clothes, but he's mostly in 6 month ones. He graduated to stage 3 diapers which was a little sad for me because he can't wear Swaddlers anymore. No more soft diapers...

~Luke's favorite toys are his stacking rings, his bear, the remote, the big red ball, his exersaucer, his rattles, and he loves to play with tags on things.

~He's finally getting some more hair! It's still a strawberry blond color. We're really interested to see what color it's going to be when it really comes in!

~He loves to snuggle and be held, which I'm taking full advantage of because I know that all too soon he'll want to run and play and not be held down by mommy's hugs!

~Luke can finally sit in a high chair at restaurants!! And thanks to one of my best friends, Paula, he has a soft high chair cover to sit in! This makes going out to eat SO much easier because we don't have to hold him anymore while we eat. He's also using his high chair at home now that Papa and GM got him!

~Luke's not crawling just yet, but when we lay him on his belly he moves his knees and legs like he's trying to crawl. He just hasn't quite figured it all out yet!

~He loves being with other kids, especially older kids! He loved his uncle Andrew and his friend Colt. Luke couldn't stop smiling whenever he was near them!

~Luke loves music! He really likes listening to the songs from music class--his favorite song is "Train is a'coming". And he loves his worship lullabies cd.

~He has gotten really good at sitting up! Occasionally, he'll topple over, but he's loves to sit up and play with his toys.

~He thinks "peek-a-boo" is the funniest game ever! He just laughs and laughs and laughs!

~No signs of any teeth yet. But considering that his mommy and daddy both were late teeth bloomers, it might be a long time before he gets one.

~Luke thinks his mommy and daddy are the best things in the whole world! He loves staring and smiling at us. We think he's pretty great too!
