Since I haven't updated a lot lately, here's just a hodpodge of random outings we've had over the past few weeks.  We've had lots of fun enjoying the summer and playing with our friends!

Luke's best friend, Madison, turned 3 a few weeks ago so we went to a fun little birthday party at her house.  Luke and Cate both had lots of fun playing in the water with all their friends.

Cate and Mary Emmaline got lots of attention from the 'big' girls who all wanted to take care of the babies and make them laugh.  Of course, Cate ate up the attention!

We've been trying to get back into the routine of going to storyhour.  Sometimes it's a little overwhelming to take (and chase) two little ones, but it's so much fun--and it's free--so it's hard to pass up.  One week we saw so many of our friends from church there!  I think we saw six different friends that go to church with us which always makes it more fun!

 The kids are allowed to sit on the stage during the last song/story, and Luke never wants to go up there, but this particular week, he had friends to go up there with!  Here's Luke with Morgan, Madison, and Riley. 

And this week we tried out the Splash Pad which is about 25 minutes from our house.  We dropped Cate off with my wonderful sister-in-law, and Luke and I had fun running around and splashing on a super hot day!  It took Luke a good 45 minutes to really warm up to it, but once he did, he LOVED the Splash Pad.

 This was his favorite water feature--the buckets would fill up with water and then dump the water on the kids.  Everytime the water dumped, Luke would squeal the loudest!  It was hilarious!

And we had a pool playdate with my old college roomie today at their neighborhood pool.  Joni has two sweet little girls and is expecting their third girl later this summer.  We had lots of fun catching up while the kids played.  Cate was a huge fan of the water!  It took Luke a little while to warm up to the big pool but he was swimming around and jumping off the side before long.  Such a fun day!
