New Years Eve has become one of my favorite holidays. Not because I care about ringing in a new year, but because of our annual New Years Eve Parties! April and I have been having NYE parties since we were in high schoool so at least 15 or 16 years, and we've been celebrating with our best couple friends for at least the last 8 or so years. Our parties have changed a lot over the years, but they are always a lot of fun and we have LOTS of laughs!! This year everyone came to our house--3 of the couple came from Kentucky! And we had NINE kids running around so it was super crazy, but our kids never all get together so we always love seeing them interact and play together.

April got Mallory and Cate matching New Years outfits and tutus that said "2012 My first New Years" They were both SOOOO cute!
And we couldn't have a get-together without an attempt at a group picture! And it was CRAZY to say the least.
Luke and Cate ready for the picture! I love that Luke's staring at Cate--he loves his little sister! Even though he doesn't always like to admit it!
And this was one of my favorite moments ever. In all the craziness of getting all the kids on the couch, Luke reached over and grabbed Cate's hand.. Like he was assuring her that he would take care of her. Be still my heart.
And here are the group shots. They are hilarious cause some of the kids are crying, some are confused, some are actually smiling and some are trying to get away! Never a dull second!

And then we found three girls who were ready to get their picture taken--okay so two of them couldn't get away from us, but they seemed happy to be there!

The next morning Cory cooked a yummy breakfast, and it was warm enough for all the kids to play outside.
Colt was still celebrating the new year!
Mason even brought his new car for everyone to drive!
It was a very happy new year!
