On Sunday night, we went to Trunk or Treat at our church. This is one of my favorite events of the year because everyone goes all out decorating their cars, and I think this year was even bigger than before!
We started out the night with a chili and hotdog dinner, and we got to check out all the cute costumes.

Sadie and Luke are in the same preschool class, and Sadie's mom and dad told us that Sadie talks about Luke ALL the time! He already knows how to charm the ladies!

We had to do some serious bribing to get Luke to put on his pirate pants before we left the house--and he wanted nothing to do with the coat or hat. But once we got outside to trick or treat, it was so cold that he actually wore the coat! So shockingly he wore everything but the hat!

Not sure what's happening here but it cracks me up! I'm sure Madison was trying to hug Luke.
Cate hung out in the stroller all night as happy as can be!

Hudson wore Luke's puppy costume from Luke's first Halloween. It was my favorite costume, and it looked just as cute on Hudson!
And Luke was excited to see his friend, Landon. He even shared some candy with Landon! That's huge considering that everything is 'mine" with Luke!
And one of the highlights of the evening was Luke getting to sit on a real tractor! He probably would have stayed on there all night if he could!
And of course when we got home, Luke had to dump out all his candy to see what he got!
Bedtime did not come easily after all the excitement (and sugar)!
