Luke's 2nd birthday party!

We had to postpone Luke's original party because he was sick so we just now had his birthday party with all his friends.  This year, we had his party at a creative play place.  All of the kids had SO much fun playing, and I know they were all exhausted after the party!  Luke took a four hour nap when we got home--and that never happens!

Big boy Luke playing at the train table
Attempting to 'share' a puzzle with Madison.  It ended in tears from both of them.  We're still working on sharing!
Luke was so happy to see his friend, Mason, who came all the way from KY for his party!

We didn't get a group picture of all of his friends, but I tried to get pics of each child playing.  We were so happy to get to celebrate with our best friends, church friends, and Music class friends.  Luke's 'grown up' with all of these babies, and it's such a blessing to share the parenthood experiences together!
Sweet Audrey--Luke HAS to give her a hug everytime he sees her!  I think he may have his first crush!
Hudson--this was his first birthday party!  He loved watching all the 'big' kids play and fell asleep at the end of the party from all the excitement!

One of Luke's favorite parts of the party was the bubble machine.  He tried to catch them and then eat them.  Typical Luke!
Cooke was so interested in the train table!  Luke talks about Cooke non-stop.  He says "I wanna see Cooke." or 'I want Cooke' or 'Play with Cooke' all day long.  Such sweet friends!
Claire collected all the play flowers and gave them out to all the daddies.  So cute!
Here are some of Luke's music class friends--James, Elizabeth, Jack and Audrey.  Luke's been in music class with some of them since he was four months old.  It's been such a blessing to have those new mommy friends and also friends for Luke who are his exact age!
Luke saw his cupcake, and got SUPER excited!

This was what was left of Luke's cupcake--of course he only ate the icing.  He hates cake.  Next year, we'll do an ice cream cake or cookie cake for him!
And before the party ended, Luke had to get a sweet hug from his friend, Madison.  She also gave him his first kiss a few weeks ago!
And to add to the birthday party excitement, there were three firetrucks outside for another party so Luke got to sit inside one for the first time!
What a fun day!
