~He only cries when he's hungry or tired. And he's still a little unsure of strangers--sometimes he loves them and sometimes he screams. There's really no rhyme or reason to who he likes and who he doesn't. Maybe it's just the mood he's in that day...
~Luke recently learned to wave bye bye! And sometimes he'll say 'bye-bye' too! It's so cute, and he gets really excited when he does it (maybe that's because we get SO excited!).

~Luke is on the go ALL day long. No more cuddling in my lap for hours... He's so happy to be on the ground exploring everything, and I mean everything! I usually just see the back of his head!
~Occasionally, he'll sleep through the night. Not every night, but every now and then he will. Sometimes he gets up at 5am and then goes back to sleep for a couple of hours. Much better than getting up twice a night.
~Luke is a good napper. He takes three naps a day--one really long nap and two shorter naps.

~When Luke's not crawling, he's pulling himself up to standing. He hasn't figured out how to move his feet so he can cruise around the furniture, but he sure loves standing!
~Luke usually likes being in the car when we're out running errands. He loves to look out the window especially now that he's in the big boy car seat! He's not the biggest fan of long car rides, but who is?!
~Luke has already figured out everything he's not supposed to do/have, and he tries to do it all day long--outlets, cords, blinds... we can't turn our heads for a second!
~He doesn't really care about toys right now. He's way more content to be crawling around and pulling himself up so he can stand. He does like to throw balls and crawl after them. That's about it.
~He still loves to put his mouth on everything! His new thing is to lick the glass on the doors (I guess he likes how cold it is!). We used to have little dog nose prints on the glass, but now we have Luke-prints instead!
~Luke stills wears some 6 month clothes, but is mostly in 9 month. He can still fit into his 6m sleepers which means we've been wearing them for five months now which also means we haven't had to buy many new ones!
~He's a mama's boy, but loves his daddy SO much too. He wants me when he's upset, hungry, or tired. But he loves to laugh and play with daddy--and he takes the LONGEST naps laying on Cory's chest (he never wants to take naps with me anymore...)
~Luke talks alot! Mostly 'ma ma's' and 'ba ba's' but I promise we heard him say "cat" last week! Haven't heard it since, but we both heard him say it while we were looking at a cat!
~We feel SO blessed to have Luke and thank God every day for him and the blessing he is in our lives. He puts a smile on our faces every day (all day long). We love you, Luke Andrew!
